On Sending Blessings on the Messenger (ﷺ)

يا من صلى عليه الرحمن قديما فصار أكرم الخلق عنده مقاما

يا فوز من صلى عليك واحدا فصلى الملك الوهاب عليه عشرا

كفا لأمة الإسلام من نعمة أن حبيب الله فينا رسولا

في محبته وسيرته نور فيا ولاية لمن اتخذه دليلا

يا قوم بغرام أحمد قد غرقوا صلوا عليه وسلموا تسليما

Translation:

Oh you who the Most Merciful eternally sent blessings upon (the actions of Allah are eternal)

So he (the Prophet) became the most noble of the creation with Him (Allah) in station

Victorious is the one who sends one salutation upon you - so the Gracious King (Allah) sends upon him ten (blessings, as came in the hadith in Muslim)

It is sufficient as a blessing for the community of Islam - that the Beloved of Allah is amongst them a Messenger

In his light and life there is light - wilaya (Divine Friendship) is for the one who takes him as a guide!

O People who have drowned in his (the Prophet’s) passionate love - send blessings upon him and greet him worthily (from Surat al-Ahzab)
